Welcome to Arrest Stories. A thirty-seven-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder after his eighty-one-year-old grandmother was found stabbed to death in her St. Louis County home. Here's what may have happened.
On December twenty-eighth, two thousand twenty-five, Fannie Allred was discovered unresponsive and face down on the floor of her residence, surrounded by blood. The hearing-impaired woman had suffered six stab wounds to her head, neck, and chest. Her daughter made the grim discovery around eleven o'clock Sunday morning and immediately called police.
Two French bulldogs named Willow and Ralo were also found stabbed at the scene but are expected to survive their injuries. The animals are recovering from their wounds sustained during the attack.
Ronald Allred, Fannie's grandson, had been seen at the residence earlier that day and had stayed at his grandmother's house the night before the murder occurred. Police began searching for Ronald Allred in connection with the stabbing death.
At approximately three zero six in the afternoon on the same day, a St. Louis County police officer located Ronald Allred sitting inside a vehicle in the five thousand two hundred block of West Florissant Avenue. When the officer attempted to apprehend him, Ronald Allred fled the scene after the officer discharged a firearm.
Police later tracked Ronald Allred's vehicle to Calvary Cemetery, where a standoff ensued. According to police spokesman Mitch McCoy, bean bags and flash bangs were eventually used to take the suspect into custody in a non-lethal manner. When the officer initially approached, Ronald Allred took his hands off the steering wheel and began reaching toward his feet.
Ronald Allred has been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and two counts of animal abuse. He is being held on a five hundred thousand dollar cash-only bond with no ten percent option available.
All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
