ARMY PLATOON LEADER ARRESTED AFTER ATTACKING OFFICER FROM BEHIND

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A twenty-one-year-old active-duty Army platoon leader was arrested in Doylestown after allegedly attacking a police officer from behind during a street fight. Here's what may have happened.

Officers with Central Bucks Regional Police were dispatched at twelve thirteen in the morning on December twenty-seventh, two thousand twenty-five to North Main Street in Doylestown Borough, Pennsylvania after receiving a report about a fight between two men.

When police arrived at the scene, one officer attempted to break up the fight and separate the individuals involved. Another officer worked to force an unidentified man away to the corner of a nearby building. During this intervention, Thomas Angel Rowe allegedly attacked the responding officer from behind, striking him in the head.

The officer grabbed Rowe by the waist in an attempt to control the situation, and both men went to the ground. According to police reports, Rowe ignored the officer's command to stop fighting and proceeded to punch the officer several times in the head while they were on the ground. Police say Rowe also slammed the officer's head into the icy pavement during the altercation.

Rowe was arrested at the scene and later arraigned on December twenty-seventh. He was identified as an active-duty member of the United States military, serving as a platoon leader in the U.S. Army.

Court records indicate bail was set with ten percent of seventy-five thousand dollars required for release. The charges against Rowe stem from what began as police responding to a simple fight call but escalated when the officer was allegedly assaulted while attempting to restore order to the situation.

The incident occurred in Doylestown Borough during the early morning hours, transforming a routine police response into a felony arrest involving an active military service member.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
